The 100th. anniversary egg is solid sterling silver and 24 karat gold plated, gold vermeil and decorated with genuine stones and cultured pearls with garlands and two cameos of an iris flower. The background is an enameled cloisonné amethyst tone finish. The egg separates in the middle and locks/unlocks with a bayonet style lock. The hidden interior of the egg contains a “surprise” egg in miniature of solid amethyst pendant decorated with garlands of 18K gold and set with three brilliant, full cut diamonds, plus a fine faceted pink tourmaline and six lustrous cultured pearls. The entire pendant is gracefully suspended from an 18 inch neck chain of 14K GOLD. The entire necklace weighs 10 grams. The interior of the top part of the egg is lined in a purple velvet.
