JANE HUTCHESON (American b. 1920) A GROUP OF TWO "IMPERIAL EGGS," FOR GORHAM MANUFACTURING CO. GIFTWARE DIVISION, PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND, 1978, the floral studies executed in enamel on gold plated metal with colored stone accents under hand blown Murano glass egg form domes, raised on waisted octagonal form stands, from the "Jardins de Verre, Imperial Egg" collection, comprising an egg with "Lily of the Valley" enameled flowers, buds, and leaves, and an egg with "Winter Strawberry" enameled fruit, flowers, and leaves. Height: 4 3/4" Diameter: 2 5/8"
Condition
Both examples in overall good to very good condition with all assembled parts intact, no evidence of problems with glass seal, minor tarnishing to stand.
