Description

A remarkable bronze and multi metals including gold and silver box of irregular form. On the lid a detailed scene worked in relief shows villagers clambering up a mountain, a silver waterfall raging alongside. Inuoe or Inoue incised signature and seal in gilt on base. Measures 2 1/4" x 7 3/4" Good condition with mild surface wear. Accompanied with Flying Cranes Antiques 2010 receipt. Provenance: "Private World Class Collection" Miami, Florida.
