This year, 2018, marks the 50th anniversary of this iconic design. Provenance: Purchased by the original owner through Van Cleef & Arpels while serving as a long time employee. She was employed by VCA for 28 years from the 1970's to the 1990's. She had VCA custom alter the 20 motif necklaces and add four additional clovers bringing the total number of stations to 24. A rare opportunity to own an iconic necklace in a unique opera length. Measures 39 1/2" long and 15mm wide. Marked on the ring on the end of the chain with a VCA diamond stamp mark and 4K 855-65. French eagle hallmark on the spring closure as well as a partially worn mark reading 4K 855--- (dashes indicate worn numerals). Further marked on one clover and reads Made In France, VCA 750.
