Vintage Texas Memorabilia, Texas Exposition of 1936; this lot includes 1) post card showing the Hall of Religion, very good condition, 2) post card of the Oriental Section, Streets of All Nations, excellent condition, 3) 2 gold colored tickets for the Opening Day Ceremony box seats in Cotton Bowl Stadium, excellent condition 4) 2 silver colored tickets for President's Day reserved section of Cotton Bowl Stadium to hear Franklin D. Roosevelt, very good condition, and 5) a replica $500 note of Confederate money with a Lubbock, Texas bank advertisement printed on the reverse, we can only surmise the bank found this a popular advertising tool at the exposition, it is in good condition. It is reported that these Confederate $500 notes (serial #16760) were printed in the 1920's and today, they have been advertised as actual.
