Peter Max (American, 1937-) attributed: marker pen and crayon on cardstock, signed and dated 2000, unframed. Peter Max channels is an American cartoonist whose work incorporates 1960s psychedelic and pop art references in his work. Although he has designed work for a variety of award shows, magazines, and albums, he is best known for inspiring the 1968 animated film Yellow Submarine and for his portraits of American presidents.
