French Gilt Bronze Mounted Porcelain Louis XVI Style Dressing Mirror, early 20th c., the shaped mirror with a bow surmount over a painted porcelain scene of a woman and a putto, verso with a shaped beveled mirror, on a scrolled support to a gilt decorated porcelain socle on a pierced circular bronze base, H.- 15 in., Dia.- 5 5/8 in. Provenance: Private Collection, Gulf Breeze, Florida.
Condition
Condition consistent with age and use. Minor discoloration at base of porcelain. Surface dirt present throughout, would benefit from a cleaning. A lovely example.
