ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE PEARLWARE / PRATTWARE CERAMIC WOMAN WITH PARASOL FIGURE standing on a square base, holding a parasol in the right hand and wearing a spotted dress, with hand-brushed letter "P" on back and with hand-brushed letters on base, decorated in the round, with Pratt-type underglaze polychrome colors, and open-bottomed. Fourth quarter 18th century. 5 1/2" HOA.
Excellent visual condition, but with glued repair on neck. Some firing flaws, as made.
Provenance: Property deaccessioned by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Williamsburg, VA. All proceeds to benefit the Collections Acquisition Fund._x000D_
