Description
Good pair of Victorian-era British Army epaulettes, each 6" x 1 ½", constructed of braided and interwoven gold bullion cords backed with buckram and black fabric, and each fitted with two "pips" of embroidered gold and silver bullion, indicating the rank of lieutenant. Each epaulette is also fitted with a screw-back brass button bearing the crest of the Royal Army Ordnance Corps. The black backing is moderately degraded on both epaulettes, else very good.
