A hand-built earthenware sculpture depicting two seated musicians - one playing a double flute and the other a circular percussion instrument. Both figures present endearing visages comprised of applied bold features. Clearly the ancients enjoyed their music as much as we do today - whether it was played for ceremonial purposes or entertainment. Size: 4" W x 5.875" H (10.2 cm x 14.9 cm)
