Description
Marked Sevres at the interior rims. "Dore A Sevres" S. 81. Markings on inside of lid: S.81 stamp #1, Dore A Sevres stamp #2. #82 at the bottom. On marble bases. Bronze mounted and gilt decorations to the blue hand painted surfaces. Believed to be acquired from Adrian Alan, member of British Antique Dealers Association, London. Pictured in the antique book Adrian Alan: Vol. II, on page 13. Circa 1880. Excellent condition, with no visible surface issues. They are attached with a single hole on the base and a properly fitted bolt. 16" W x 16" D x 58" H. Mansion Library. NO RESERVE.
