All in this lot are 47th & 49th parallels by John Mix Stanley & Gustave Sohon. This collection contains: BIG HOLE PRAIRIE FROM THE NORTH, ENTRANCE TO THE BITTER ROOT MOUNTAINS, BY THE LOULOU FORK, MILK RIVER- BEAR'S PAW MOUNTAIN IN DISTANCE, NEAR MOUSE RIVER, MILK RIVER, NEAR JUNCTION OF MISSOURI, CROSSING THE HELLGATE RIVER MAY 5th 1854.. These were part of collection made by the US government under the Secretary Of War, in 1853-1855. Thomas II. Ford, Printer 1860. Each folio measures approx. 8 3/4 x 6 in
