Description
Ink on paper, newly framed. Featuring WInnie the Pooh and Piglet. Signed and attributed to Ernest Howard Shepard (British, 1879-1976) on the lower right corner. 10 x 14.5 cm (3.9 x 5.7 inches). Frame size: 29.5 x 34.5 cm (11.6 x 13.6 inches). Ernest Howard Shepard was an English artist and book illustrator. He is known especially for illustrations of the anthropomorphic soft toy and animal characters in The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame and Winnie-the-Pooh by A. A. Milne.
