English Solid Mahogany Secretary with broken arch pediment having a central platform, two ten light doors with sinuous lozenge shaped mullions over four adjustable shelves; the lower case has a molded receiver with slant front desk having a complex fitted interior and replaced green leather writing surface with tooled gilt banding, oak secondary, the four graduated drawers below having beaded edge and post and bail brasses; all drawers and desk front with locks and original keys, the entirety resting on a molded bracket base, 100" (8'-4") tall, 32" to writing surface, 40 1/2" x 21 1/2" at base. Very good condition, shrinkage cracks to sides of lower case, minor loss to dentil molding on bonnet.
