Apollo 1: 1966 NASA Houston Manned Spacecraft Center Space News Roundup Newsletter a Front Page Photograph of Astronauts Roger Chaffee and Virgil "Gus" Grissom Directly From The Armstrong Family Collectionâ„¢, Certified and Encapsulated by Collectibles Authentication Guaranty. Vol. 6, No. 1, October 28, 1966. The photo features both astronauts suited up and in Apollo spacecraft 012 performing vacuum tests. Tragically both men and crewmember Ed White would die three months later during a training accident. Excellent. Sealed in a numbered archival holder. This lot will include a Statement of Provenance signed by Neil Armstrong's sons, Rick and Mark.
