A Japanese or Chinese Bronze and Cloisonne Elephant Lamp
19th or 20th century, a well carved bronze elephant with fine detail to his ears and eyes, trunk raised and mouth open, on his back is a pagoda form howdah and he wears a decorated blanket, the lamp also has an accompanying bronze and cloisonne pierced shade, elephant fitted to a larger wooden base.
