1 pair cotton wide fall front pants, self covered buttons, pair CB laces, boot straps, W 34", Ins 32", (many small stains, hole in crotch); 1 cream silk vest w/ laveder sprig embroidery, shawl collar, 3 small inset pockets, cotton backing, W 34",L 21", (large CF W hem stain, armhole & back stains) both fair; t/w 1 man's embroidered white cotton vest & 1 lady's white cotton muslin bodice. PROVENANCE: Emily Johnston, 1851-1942, m. Robert W de Forest, 1848-1931, both from prominent & early NYC families. This lot likely belonged to Emily J de Forest's grandfather, John Johnston.
