Rozenburg earthenware vase designed by Theodoor Colenbrander for the Rozenburg Porcelain Factory, The Hague.
Theodoor Christian Adrian Colenbrander (Dutch,1841-1930).
Painted by J. Suurbach with a pattern of stylized crocuses in shades of blue, green, brown and yellow.
Painted factory marks, date code, painter's monogram and title.
Dimension: Height: 17.8 cm hgt.
Condition: Good, old professional restoration noticed under black light but not evident with the naked eyes, at bottom of base (photos).
Provenance: private estate.

Theodore (Theo) Colenbrander is considered as the first Dutch industrial designer of Dutch Art Nouveau (Nieuw Kunst) and the first major artist working for the Rosenberg Porcelain Factory, The Hague.

Condition

Good condition, has been professionally restored, not visible to naked eye, at very bottom of base (read above).
