CONTINENTAL STERLING SILVER SUGAR TONGS, LOT OF TWO, including a French 950 silver example with shell-form decoration and grips, other example having bas-relief berry vine design and floral engraving accents to the handles. French example with Minerva marks for 0.950 silver fineness and partial maker's marks, other example with a dog or lion head mark. Total weight: 4.960 ozt. Late 19th/early 20th century. 5 1/2" and 6 1/2" L.
Excellent overall condition with expected minor wear; berry vine example with a minute hole to one grip, possibly as made.
