Extremely scarce book in clean, solid condition. This is the same edition that Shakespeare is known to have used to research his plays based on the royal families (King Richard III, Henry V, King John, etc.) Bookplate of Ricardi Barnard, MRCS, LRCP. "John W. Alden" written in ink on inside front cover. Contains scarce 31-page Tables missing in most copies. Title page borders and initials woodcuts are by Sylvanus Antonianus.
