Linblad, Gun (Contemporary Swedish), Untitled Sculpture, 1998, cast and sandblasted glass and lead, 9 x 22.5 x 5 inches, Gun Linblad was born in Nappsjö, Dorotea in southern Lapland and has lived in Huddinge since 1983. She was educated in art subjects, and has studied with courses at art school and Pilchuck Glass School. She has had many separate exhibitions, and participated in hundreds of group exhibitions, around major parts of the world. Gun is artist in residence at California College of Art. She is represented in a number of museums, both within and outside Sweden, county councils, municipalities and in state council meetings.
