Description

This oil painting by Leonard Lane (1910-1978) titled "Ballet of Wings" is in good condition, image size 20" x 26" and is signed in the lower left. Born in Bristol, England around 1910, Leonard C Lane emigrated to Canada with his family when he was sixteen. He served four years in the Royal Canadian Navy during War World II. He exhibited realistic marine paintings extensively throughout the United States. He died in an accident in 1978. While the Raymer Society makes every effort to offer authentic, original artwork it is ultimately the bidders responsible for assessing and determining the work of art's authenticity, condition and quality before purchasing.
