Randall Davey Oil on Board Street Vendor Painting: Randall Davey (American, 1887 - 1964), 20th century, oil on fiber board painting depicting a Mexican street vendor sitting in the shade of a busy portico and selling fish. Signed on the face by the artist, verso with a label from the Hirshhorn Sculpture Museum and Garden, Washington, DC. Dimensions are: image - 20“ high x 13“ wide, overall - 29“ high x 22“ wide x 1 1/2" deep. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The frame with some chipping to the gilded edges, while not examined out of the frame, visibly free of chips, cracks, and repairs. Provenance: Formerly in the collection of the Hirshhorn Sculpture Museum and Garden, Washington, DC. No. HMSG1977.98.
