Description

THE PEAR OF ANGUISH torture instrument in working condition, hand made of iron.

Top knob is also hand made having human head. Pear has 3 blades.Such different design instrument were used to torture slaves or prisoners to take out truth or anyone does wrong.

It was inserted into victims body and expanded by the screw mechanism. This must be very painful.

Device is in working condition. (have to push little to open).

Please see pictures carefully for use and age since I have no idea, I have described with best of my knowledge which I got from previous owner, pictures are part of description.

Patina is good, I have cleaned but still rust is coming out.There may change in patina when you receive since rust is coming out.
