The Cubs defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship on Saturday, October 22nd, to advance to their first World Series since 1945. The Cubs' were crowned World Series Champions after winning game 7 against the Cleveland Indians on Wednesday, November 2nd in extra innings.
