Rare Nepalese Himalayan shaman drum, circa 1920s, the large hide covered surfaces and wood shell mounted on a carved handle in the form of a Tibetan phurba, or three sided ritual dagger; most likely from the areas to the north and west of the Kathmandu valley; with what could be the original curved wood striker. 26" H X 15.25" diameter.
