A MONUMENTAL MEISSEN STYLE GILT AND POLYCHROME ENAMEL DECORATED PORCELAIN CENTERPIECE, LATE 20TH CENTURY, the sculptural centerpiece with a hemispherical form bowl with light blue glaze, with a reticulated cross hatched band between reserved acanthus leaf and oval borders, the band overlaid with applied porcelain floral blossoms, the interior with a transfer printed floral spray, raised on a columnar standard with three draped female figures holding musical instruments, separated from each other with a bunch of flowers at the shoulders, the whole raised on a tripod form plinth with acanthus scrolled feet and acanthus blossoms, the underside with pseudo crossed swords mark. Height: 23 3/8" Diameter: 14 1/4"

In overall good condition with very minor rubbing and wear to gilt decoration.
