Description
A GROUP OF TWO GLAZED EARTHENWARE WATER DROPPERS, 20TH CENTURY, comprising a Chinese, with pale blueish-green glaze, of tea pot form with relief petal motif; the second example with a flambé style glaze, of onion form with a tapered spout, raised on a circular foot, tallest: 3 1/2", diameter: 2 3/4".
Condition
The celadon example has various kiln bursts, some losses of glaze, soil within damages, and general surface wear. The flambé example has some hand painting in blue and black near the foot, and mild surface wear, but overall both in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
