A VENETIAN STYLE SILVERED OCTAGONAL MIRROR, CIRCA 1920-1940, the octagonal form mirror surmounted with acanthus leaf scrolls cut on the back centering a banded palmette, over a scalloped edge silvered mirror bevel with foliate decoration cut on the back, centering an octagonal bevel edged silvered mirror plate, overlaid with rectangular mirrored panels cut to the back with beading at the edges, at the corners shaped rosette with pendant mirror mounts, on ebonized pine backing. In overall fair to good used condition, with areas of loss to silvering (particularly at the lower left corner); no cracks of chips of the mirrored elements.
