A LATE REGENCY CHIPPENDALE STYLE MAHOGANY CAMELBACK SOFA, ENGLISH, EARLY/MID 19TH CENTURY, the arched back over a rectangular cushion seat, within outwardly rolled arms, raised on four square, tapered front legs and four splayed back legs with interior chamfers, joined by a central "H" form stretcher and a back stretcher, now upholstered in Italian, Mariano Fortuny "Mazzarino," pattern number 5114, printed cotton in the bittersweet and ivory color scheme, now discontinued, with two matching down pillows, and two complimentary accent pillows covered in ironstone red velvet and "Pergolessi," pattern number 5358, in a like color scheme. One leg replaced with beech, various casters attached, one caster lacking, later finish applied, a few losses at back legs, some dents, scratches and surface wear throughout, apparent restoration, some wood filled areas, later upholstery in very good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
