Description
A VICTORIAN WHITE TERRA COTTA BUST OF FREDERICK GUSTAV BURNABY(English 1842-1885) JANUARY 21, 1885, the posthumous portrait bust with faux bronze patina paint, verso inscribed by modeler "R. Bremner Stocks," and dedicated "Published by Sidney Redin, 175 New Bond St., London..." Height: 16 1/2" Diameter: 8 1/2" Provenance: The personal collection of Colonel Frederick Gustavus Burnaby, member of the Royal Horse Guards, a cavalry regiment of the British Army.
Condition
Various repairs, neck has crack at seam, label residues, surface wear, mild losses, but overall in fair to good condition, wear commensurate with age and use.
