Greece, Hellenistic Period, ca. 3rd to 1st century BCE. A ceramic fragment of a winged anthropomorphic figure, probably a depiction of Eros (Cupid). Made to be a votive figure. Size: 1.95" W x 2.2" H (5 cm x 5.6 cm); 3.6" H (9.1 cm) on included custom stand.
Provenance: ex private Anthony (Marco) Panto collection, acquired in or near Palermo, Italy, before 1950
