For Vanity Fair from caricature by "Spy", the pseudonym of Leslie Ward (1851-1922). Sir Leslie Ward was a prolific and popular caricaturist who was knighted in 1918. He was one of the major artists for Vanity Fair magazine whose caricatures were often responsible for the reputation of hapless individuals who were newsworthy.
