The dual snake handles over a round bowl repousse-decorated with a border of grape clusters and leaves raised on a gadrooned base, decorated with an armorial similar to that used by the Duke of Argyll, a helmet over arms quarterly 1 and 4 gyronny of eight (Campbell) 2 and 3 a ship sails furled, flags and pennants flying oars in action to one side and to the other a boars head erased with motto: Ne Obliviscaris

Condition
Overall good condition with light scratches and rubbed wear to vermeil commensurate with age. A .375" dent to the bowl.
