Description
Origin: Germany, 19th – 20th century
Dimensions: total length - 31,3 cm, blade's length - 17,6 cm. Weight - 158 g.
Blade: iron single edged flat blade, tapering from lower and upper part towards the tip. A hallmark of the maker – J.A. HENCKELS SOLINGEN – on the one side of the blade. It refers to knife manufacturer in Solingen, founded in 1731.
Hilt: dear horn grip and round iron pommel.
Condition report: blade with scratches and some pitted areas from corrosion. Horn with light natural patina, some scratches and dents. Iron disc shape pommel with scratches and dents.
