Description
Roman, Imperial period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A handsome cast bronze statuette of a man, shown in a dynamic pose, striding forward, his body portrayed as sensual and nude, the ideal of athletic male youthful beauty. He wears some kind of attachment on one side of his head, perhaps indicating who this is meant to be - it may have once been part of a larger attachment like a headdress. Size: 1" W x 2.5" H (2.5 cm x 6.4 cm); 4.55" H (11.6 cm) on included custom stand.

Condition
Arms are lost at the elbow and something may be lost from the top of his head, although it is difficult to see . Nice preservation of details. Mottled deep brown and green patina on surface.
