Circa first quarter of 20th century, 12 professional assembled boxed art reproduction prints of famous paintings / artwork for the study of fine arts for secondary schools, presented and assembled by the Carnegie Corporation of New York. Each especially designed box contains prints mounted on hard stock cardboard, each print is labeled on front and back with country of origin, artist's name, art work title, media and location of original and a stamped catalog number. Boxes are labeled - Ancient Byzantine Early Christian Architecture; Renaissance & Modern Architecture American English and French; French Paintings Puvis to Watteau, German & Italian Angelico to Canalleto; Dutch and English Paintings; Italian Paintings Orcagna to Vivarini; Italian Painting Carpaccio to Michelangelo; Flemish to French; French Paintings Chardin to Poussin; Medieval Architecture, French, Mayan Spanish, German Italian. Most are black and white, some are sepia and few are in full color. Each box has a catalog number and contents listing on the front of each box. 10 of the boxes each measure 12 1/2 x 15 x 4" H and each has 40 or more; . The largest 2 boxes are 29 1/4 x 23 x 3" H and each holds about 25.
