Early 4th century Japanese Haniwa terracotta warrior head with helmet. Very good overall condition. H. 10 1/2 inches.
Lot Note: Haniwa figures were made for ritual use and buried with the dead during the Kofun Period, which spanned more than four centuries, beginning in the 3rd century and continuing through the 6th century.
