Very unusual New Haven Railroad Poster art. After talking with Marc Fratasio (New Haven author) I think we now know that this type of poster art was from either an art class or industrial art school. This poster was never commercially produced. There are two pieces (1) larger poster with lettering concerning travel over Easter with a New England church. It measures 22" by 28". There is water damage to the border. It is mounted on a thick board and then it's in shrink wrap. Unknown if there is anything on the back. (2) Smaller 10" by 15" artist mock-up of the larger scene. Doodles on lower margin and watercolor. It too is in shrink wrap so unknown reverse. Unknown value, diamond or coal?
