Description

A pair of railroad lanterns: (1) Monongahela Dietz Vesta with unmarked globe. Build date of S-4-30. I think the MRYCo etched globe is suspect. I have never seen an etching like this so bid accordingly. The Montour was Pennsy controlled and the Monongahela was NYC controlled. The NYC bought more Dietz Vestas than you can shake a stick at while the Pennsylvania bought zero. (2) Washington Terminal Company stamp WTCo on the lid of a Dressel shortie in small lettering. It was wire wheeled and has real scratches in the surface. Still an interesting name from Washington DC.
