Description
An 1860 broadside for excursion trains to visit the Great Eastern Steamship. It measures 8 1/2" by 114". It has multiple colors. The trips originate in Vermont and use the Connecticut River line. Barton, White River Junction, Bellows Falls, etc. From Hartford the Elm City would make the boat trip to New York. The Great Eastern was a big deal, it was the fastest ship in the world. It also laid the first transatlantic cable. 158 years old. Currently in plastic shrink wrap on foamcore board. Minor chips to corners.
