Description
A Dietz Track Inspector's lantern that has a nice PRR keystone stamping on the handle. It has a "flip dial" on the back to show either clear or red behind. The metal is outstanding and it is clean as a whistle. The globe has the MacBeth Evans MEGCO casting across the top with a Keystone etching across the center. The MEGCo also has a small "7" under the MEGCo. A very clean track walker lantern with double Pennsy markings.
Note that we sold this lantern a couple of years ago. I missed that it has a crack in the small 2" diameter peek lens. This is a 2" diameter clear with DIETZ in small raised lettering across the middle. The last purchaser correctly noted this flaw and declined to accept it, which is OK. My mistake. This time it is "as is".
