Description
20th Century. This was the first dolls' house that Mickie's father made for her. It stands 6' tall, 45" wide and is 21" deep. It is an exact copy of a dolls' house built by Joseph Zumbusch in 1870. There are four floors with two rooms on each floor for a total of eight rooms. There are bay windows on each side of the house on the second floor. The house is made of black walnut wood as was the original. It has large panes of glass on the doors for secure easy viewing of all the rooms. The house opens from the front with four large doors where fireplaces and large archways can be seen in the rooms. Beautiful hand-laid parquet floors are found in all the rooms along with great floorboards and crown moldings. This house is very well built and electrified with lights in each room and locks with keys on each of four glass doors.
