Extraordinary so-called round face child with very pale bisque, closed mouth with highlighted lips, pale blue threaded spiral eyes with multi-stroke lashes and tiny brows, and pierces earlobes. Original stringing through the original plaster pate with holes going through the pate down into the torso, holding all the pieces of the body together to the head. Head is incised "B te SGDG 5". The original wood and composition body is immediately identifiable by its unique shape of the hands as well as a flat buttocks. There is also a black stamp on the bottom with the so-called "Black Shield" stamp. Body patina appears to be original, very good condition with only typical minor age wear with slight paint wear at some finger tips. In addition to the fine quality, she retains her original curly, short blond mohair wig with an inserted pink silk ribbon. The clothing, if not original, is certainly of the period and is ribbed cotton with fancy lace and embroidery, with all antique undergarments and white stockings which are likely slightly later, as well as nice pale blue antique shoes with buckles.
