Description
Seven pieces of Georgian English sterling silver flatware. Scalloped edged bowls, each having an embossed face mask depicting male and female mythological deities. The handles with a chased scroll and leaf motif. Three teaspoons (6.75" long) and the two tablespoons (8.75" long) hallmarked for William Eley, Wm Fearn and Wm Chawner, London, England, 1811. The fourth teaspoon and the sifting ladle / tea strainer (7" long) hallmarked for Richard Crossley, London,1799. Overall weight of the seven pieces, 350 grams.
