Description
ENGLISH TEA LEAF IRONSTONE ARTICLES, LOT OF SEVEN, comprising one 5 7/8" footed bowl by Arthur J. Wilkinson; one 8" D bowl and one sauce boat by H. Burgess; one 8 1/4" x 6 1/8" dish by W.H. Grindley & Co.; one square plate, one oval platter, and one rectangular platter by Alfred Meakin. Each with printed mark on base. Second half 19th century. Rectangular platter 15 3/4" x 11 1/4".
Two pieces undamaged; oval platter with two chips on rim's underside and minor flakes on rim; plate and dish with spots/areas of moderate discoloration and scattered chips and flakes on rim; footed bowl with spots of light discoloration, roughness and one chip on rim, and hairline on base; sauce boat with areas of discoloration and one chip on base.
