Description
PITTSBURGH BRASS NO. 2 PARLOR LAMP, compressed brass base with flaring foot, topped with an opaque white umbrella-form shade with a pink ground and floral decoration, period brass spider shade ring, signed under the base. Appropriate Pittsburgh "SUCCESS" burner, colorless slip chimney. Electrified. Pittsburgh Lamp, Brass & Glass Co. Early 20th century. 16 3/4" H to top of shade, 8 3/4" H to top of collar, 6 1/4" D base. Shade: 6 1/4" H, 9 3/4" D fitter.
Very good condition overall with a couple scattered dents, a few splits to the burner gallery, some imperfections due to the electrification process, chimney rims with some flaking. Shade with typical minor flaking/roughness to the rims, as made.
