VICTORIAN MIXED-METAL AND ONYX KEROSENE BANQUET LAMP, opaque white with enamel-decorated ball shade, cast-metal base with openwork foliate and cherub/Victorian children decoration, cast-metal foot with panelled floral motif, marble stem, brass drop-in font. Period brass slip burner with attached shade ring and colorless slip chimney signed "CRISTAL". Electrified. Edward Miller & Co. Late 19th/early 20th century. 29 1/2" H to top of shade, 19 1/2" to top of shade ring, 8" D base. Shade 10"H, 4" D fitter.
Very good condition overall with typical age wear, denting to the edge of the screw cap, imperfections due to the electrification process, chimney with a chip and a few minor flakes to the top rim. Shade and chimney with typical light roughness to the fitters, as made.
