ASSORTED BANJO CLOCKS, LOT OF THREE, comprising a Colonial Manufacturing Co. example with spring-driven movement, the case with decorated glass panels, including "BOSTON STATE HOUSE" to lower panel, enameled metal dial, and cast-brass eagle finial; an example with weight-driven movement, lacking weight, walnut case with paint-decorated panels, likely later replacements, painted metal dial with partially legible lettering including "Willard Jr. / BOSTON", and cast-brass eagle finial; and a GE Telechrom example with electric movement and Westminster chime. First two examples retaining pendulum, Colonial example retaining key, "Willard" example lacking weight as described. Together with an incomplete New Haven banjo clock with 30-day movement, lacking hands. Four pieces total. 19th and 20th century. 34 1/4" to 40 1/2" HOA.
Cases in very good condition overall, "Willard" example with loss to one corner of lower paint-decorated panel, panels likely replaced as described, expected wear and discoloration to dial. Unknown working condition, "Willard" example lacking weights as described (see Catalogue Guarantee).
