Catalogue Note: These concert posters were individually collected during the 1960s when the consignor lived in San Francisco. He relates, in part, "At that time, the bands were giving concerts in Golden Gate Park and in theaters, and they sold the original posters to raise money. When the concerts were over, they piled the left over posters on a giant table in the middle of City Lights Bookstore in North Beach and they were sold to anyone. I bought some of them at the concerts and some at the bookstore. But they were all bought by me during the 1960s and I have owned them ever since."
